International Martial Arts Event
United States Martial Arts Festival
Inaugurated by Shin Koyamada in 2010, the United States Martial Arts Festival (USMAF) emerged as an annual international martial arts extravaganza, hosted by the Koyamada International Foundation USA (KIF USA) in Redondo Beach, California. Designed to showcase martial arts on a global scale, USMAF brought together diverse grandmasters from various styles and nations, fostering inclusivity and harmony within the martial arts community.
Inspired by his "Masters Dinners," where martial arts masters convened to share insights over meals, Koyamada conceived USMAF as a platform for dialogue and celebration. In its inaugural year, USMAF drew over 1,000 attendees, including performers, supporters, and enthusiasts, marking a significant milestone in promoting martial arts culture worldwide.
