US-Japan Council Annual Conference in Washington D.C.
Koyamada attended the 2017 U.S.-Japan Council (USJC) Annual Conference in Washington D.C., representing Sister Cities International (SCI) as its national board of directors and Koyamada International Foundation (KIF) as its chairman, to learn more about what US-Japan Council does in both United States and Japan. Over 700 government and business leaders attended the conference.
At the event, Koyamada was pleased to exchange dialogue with Irene Hirano, President of the USJC, Ernie Higa, Chairman of USJC Japan and their senior staff about US-Japan relations and sister cities partnerships between two nations during the conference. Great casually catching up with Chief of Staff of Federal Communications Commission and meeting with staff of U.S. Congresswomen and US-Japan Council.
At night, Koyamada joined the networking night with U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Tokyo, CULCON Japan, SCI Chairman, Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission and others at an official residence of the new Minister of the Embassy of Japan in Washington D.C.
