Colombian Night at Colombian Ambassador’s Residence
Koyamada and his Colombian wife Nia organized "The 2nd Colombian Night", presented by the Embassy of Colombia in Tokyo, Japan and Koyamada International Foundation (KIF), Japan at the Ambassador's Residence in Tokyo, Japan.
The purpose of the event was to introduce Colombian people, culture, foods, tourism and business to Japanese people. The Colombian Ambassador Gabriel Duque opened the remarks to welcome approx. 60 people, followed by Director Wago of PROCOLOMBIA, Japan to give a brief introduction of Colombia, Colombia's Goodwill Ambassador Nia Lyte to share her Colombia related charity activities in Colombia and finally myself sharing them about my personal experience in Colombia.
There were a wide range of people from various industries, including Ambassadors, presidents and professors of famous universities, business owners, multinational corp officials, Japanese government officials, Hollywood famous director and producers, musician, nonprofit leaders, media, high school teachers and students. They all enjoyed the night learning more about Colombia, testing the real Colombian foods cooked by Colombian chef and Colombian coffee, exchanging business cards and meeting new people.
Koyamada thanked the Ambassador, the Embassy and staff of KIF Japan for our friendship and making this successful event happen. Koyamada heard everyone had a great time and loved Colombian foods.
