KIF (Koyamada International Foundation)
Shin Koyamada and his wife Nia Lyte founded KIF (Koyamada International Foundation), a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization in Los Angeles, CA in 2008, with its focus to inspire youth and women to achieve their dreams. For over 10 years, KIF has yearly helped thousands of youth and women through its cross-cultural, educational and sports programs and has successfully raised substantial relief funds to aid victims of natural disasters, including the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. KIF has offices in Los Angeles, Tokyo and Bogota.
With global speakers from different careers, KIF outreaches yearly thousands of youth and women to empower them about global leaderships in partnership with other international organizations, national & private universities, embassies & consulates, nonprofits and corporations.
Through global cross-cultural activities, KIF outreaches the next generation and promotes people to people interactions through mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation in partnerships with international organizations, embassies & consulates and other nonprofits.
In response to a natural disaster, KIF outreaches the next generation volunteers to help aid victims of their communities that are affected by a disaster and works closely with different partners to spread words out to different global communities to seek for a help.
